Since about 2 weeks ago when we had those bad storms, my signal has been all over the place but mainly it is weaker than before(about 20%). Has anyone else seen or experienced this? Maybe they have a problem and did not realize the storms affected them. I know it is not my antenna because it is in my attic. Anyone else having these problems?

We are having no transmitter problems. Still full bore, sky sterilizing, digital power. Just cleaned all the heat exchangers last week and verified power levels of both cabinets.

I had to move my antenna (in my attic) a couple of weeks ago during a storm because I went from 82% to 49%. I initially thought it was the storm, but I had the same problem a couple days later. My antenna had been in the same place attached to rafters with cable ties for about 18-24 months. After moving my antenna, all is well again. Maybe you're running into the same thing.

Also, I still see a slight timing issue between audio and video on 4-1 (the video is slightly ahead of the audio). It's not much (maybe 1/10 of a second, just enough to be able to tell things aren't quite right). Anybody else seeing that?

Audio sync is a chronic problem and probably the worst flaw in the design of the digital A/V format.

Thanks all, it just seems to coincidental that the problems occurred when the storms happened and with my antenna being in my attic I thought it might be at the station or tower..

i asked the same question when i had problems, and shaun said they're at the same power as usual. when i moved the antenna 4-1 came back to the same strength as before. i don't understand it.

Any trees around that may have put on some foliage?
