Hi, everyone. I live in Delaware and I am having a hard time picking up ABC digital 6.001 all the time. I am using a Terk HDTVi antenna, and my signal strength is around 72-75% for most HD channels other than FOX which I can only get around mid 60's%. I do have a 10db amp inline to get the signal strength that high. I read reviews saying the Terk TV5 is alot better antenna than the HDTVi. Would that antenna help? Or will an indoor antenna be able to get 90's% signal strength in Delaware or would I have to go with an outdoor? Anyone else in Delaware have any solutions? Thanks.

i live in delaware. i have a $50 normal antenna from radio shack in my attic. it works ok, except that it must've moved on me a little while ago. anyway, abc is channel 13 and the only vhf channel, so if you get the other channels fine (they're uhf), maybe your antenna doesn't have a good vhf capability. anyway, you need both here because of sinclair media.
i get between 82-92% strength on all columbus stations with a 12db amp located about 25 ft. from the antenna. that's with a dish receiver.

Well the antenna I have is an indoor Terk HDTVi. It is not amplified, but I did put a 10db amp. inline after the antenna. It boosts signal strength to 75% for all stations but Fox which I get around 65%. If the amp is not used, my signal strength drops to low 60's for all the stations and Fox drops to low 50's. I guess I am going to have to go with a outdoor antenna. Like I said before ABC for me is choppy sometimes and other times is fine. Don't really understand that. Does anyone have an ideas on good outdoor antennas? Looking on antennaweb.org, I am around 25 miles from all stations except UPN which is 40 miles away. Thanks.

Antennaweb says I'm 19 miles from the Sinclair transmitter(s). I use an indoor terk hdtvi antenna placed on the top of my tv. Looks like a sideways palm branch. I seldom have issues pulling in either fox or abc. I have more problems, I think, when foliage on the trees thickens during the summer. But 99% of the time I get a strong signal. I would love to put an antenna in my attic but I just haven't had enough issues with my current setup.

I just moved into the Quarry apartments off 5th and 33. It seems that location is only 3.6 miles from WSYX(WTTE). We are looking to get an HDTV with built in Tuner. Being only 3.6 miles away should we be ok with a decent indoor antenna?

I have the Winegard Sharpshooter Model SS-3000 indoor antenna and I get great results. Everything in the 90 except PAX 51-1 which is about 75-85%. It cost's a bit, but the results are good.
