I have Dish and receive all my local HD over the air. Been doing this for several years. I have 2 HDTVs and 2 HDTV tuners. I have an antenna in the attic that's been there for years, and on Wednesday I was only getting a 49% on 4-1 and 4-2. I usually get about 90%. Yesterday and today I'm still only getting 49%. All other HD channels (10-1, 6-1, 28-1, 28-2, 36-1,2,3,4,5, and 53-1) all are at the same signal strength as usual. I live in Delaware. Anyone else notice a drop in the ota signal strength?
Thanks.

Welcome to HD Columbus!
I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary with WCMH-DT since the "squirrel incident" (http://www.hdcolumbus.net/vb-hdtv/showthread.php?t=774) a couple of weeks back.
Anyone else from the Deleware area having issues?

well, then that means it's me. since both tuners are doing the same thing, that's pointing to the antenna. but all other channels are exactly the same. hmm..... i guess i'll try unsecuring the antenna and moving it a little... or something....
anyway, thanks for the info.

well, i cut the cable ties that kept the antenna in place to the rafters, moved it about 4 inches, and i'm getting 4-1 again, although not at the previous signal level. not sure what happened, but thanks for helping me identify the problem.

My signal degrades slightly every Spring when the trees in the back yard get new leaves. That's not to say you have the same problem, but the environmental conditions that affect broadcast signals (foliage, buildings, weather, et.al.) change over time (and with seasons) that may require adjustments.

i hope it isn't leaves since i took a 50% hit in signal strength - the antenna hasn't moved in quite some time, but apparently something changed between it and the tower. oh well, it's working now, my wife got to see the final episode of west wing, so all is good again - well, not really, grey's anatomy and 24 are on at the same time tonight and i have no dvr :-(
