I know. It's been the slowest I've seen it for a while. People must be getting out and enjoying the nicer weather. Losers!! ;)

WOW !! Keep posting stevec999. At this rate you'll soon overtake and pass Ken H over at AVSForum in total number of postings.

So far we've got about 40 appointments setup. Just got confirmed for the Sony press conference on Monday and we'll be in the Microsoft one on Tuesday (althogh MS is going to release a ton of the E3 demos and trailers to Xbox Live next week).
Right now I've got booth tours setup with AGEIA, Activision, CD Projeckt (Witcher), CDV, Sony, Bethesda, Logitech, nVidia, Topwave (2-Worlds - an Oblivion type RPG for the 360/PC), CCP Online (EVE Online-space MMORPG), Microsoft, and NC Soft.
We've got three other writers going and they'll be covering ATI, Sapphire, SNK, Nokia, Konami, and a bunch of other smaller companies.

Oh yeah, especially after seeing the footage that was released last week on YouTube. I won't ruin it but it featured a classic X-Men move and a classic X-men villain....

It's on my list of stuff to check out:) I'll see what I can drum up but I probably won't get to it until Thursday as Wed is booked solid. We'll start posting daily coverage Monday night/Tuesday morning and I'll be doing our usual segment on CD101 Tuesday morning (which should be entertaining as it will be around 4:45am in LA).

I thought it was interesting that it was about the same time last year we had a lull.... Can't even get peeps to post in the slow, slow, slow thread!
I can't figure out why we're getting hit so hard by spammers. Freaking annoying.

I think that's why things are so slow here. Nothing but reruns on TV so no one is complaining about wsyx audio being out of sync, etc. Not a lot of sports on TV although I must say, "Go Cavs!"
The networks and our locals look to be getting their HD digital signals under control and humming along.

I'll second the Cavs. Those last two games were awesome! Hopefully they can surprise everyone in the next round too.

We can't complain about Sinclair any more. Now what are we going to complain about? No HD on Columbus sports network?

Things have been much improved lately; increased signal strength of WOSU, WBNS newscasts, expanded offerings of cable providers, etc. It's gotten so uneventful that I downloaded the beta drivers for the Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1600 last week and tried to see which (if any) unencrypted QAM channels I could receive with my Time Warner basic. It proved to be pretty "hit and miss", and certainly no better than the OTA lineup, so I saw no need to post anything on it.

Agreed about the lack of things to complain about :D
I need to take some time to update the provider pages with channel listings, etc. and add some more custom content. Maybe a review section that allows anyone to write a review about anything :hdlove:
Also, I need to start working on the monthly newsletters again. We always noticed a spike in traffic and posts when I sent those out. We can't let the spammers beat us in posting :D
