Hi everyone, I just moved to Columbus a couple weeks ago (depending on who you talk to, I'm in either New Albany or Gahanna, on Morse Road) and I've had a miserable time so far, mostly thanks to AT&T. One problem is this crap DSL they gave me. It was supposed to be broadband cable. I'm getting rid of this garbage, and I'm considering cancelling my cell phone with them as well. This cap is news to me, not surprising that they told me nothing about it either.
Could you folks out there that are familiar with my area (zip is 43054) reply in the forum or pm me and help me with my other internet options please. I've done research but I need first hand no bull info, and calling these companies does no good. Thank you.

45 views and not one reply. I think I might have moved to the wrong city.

I can't speak for AT&T, and use Time Warner.... Have found that most providers have their good and bad points.

When not just go with TW? Most seem happy with them. But as always, with every provider there are good and bad opinions of them.

I never had an issue with TWC until 2 years ago. Started getting connections drops and reconnects every 30 min or so. It would break my work VPN. After a couple of breaks I would get locked out of the VPN for some time.

I gave TWC 3 tech visits and a couple of months to fix it. They couldn't. So I went to Verizon DSL. It was slower but good until Frontier took it over. Then my speeds were horrible. Almost as bad as dial up. But they've been working on it and now I'm getting about 2.5Mbs down on the 3Mbs plan. It works OK for most stuff.
