Moved from .org:
Several folks here are experiencing varying degrees of
success receiving individual channels at different
times. Most of us here have gone through these
machinations and are glad to help or provide insight (no
pun intended) where we can.
To that end, I recommend that as a rule if you post a
note about an over-the-air reception problem that in
some place in your post you mention the make and model
of your receiver, your location and the type of antenna
and/or amplification you are using.
You should be specific in identifyng the receiver; don't
refer to it as a "new-model Yospy", or such. Identify
the manufacturer and its official designation. This
helps both for searches and in instances where different
manufacturer's units are electronically similar or
equal.
Given that our posting profiles don't distinguish as
much (excepting nakedeye, who is tropo-ing from Western
Africa) mention in what area of Central Ohio you reside;
not that you live "five miles from XYZ's tower", as such
may refer to German Village or Olde Gahanna.
Including such info may not allow us to solve all of
your problems but it should help. At the very least it
should help us to see patterns.
As I said... just suggestions.
