Here are the Bengals and Browns schedules for 2010. The non-conflict games and Steelers games are in bold. There are 9 conflicts this year, and a 10th if the Bengals-Chargers Sunday night game gets bounced to 1:00. I believe 9 is a record. I believe last year there were only 6.

I will guess that channel 10 will show the Bengals in weeks 1 and 2 and the Browns in week 3 due to better matchups. That's just a guess. Most of the conflicts are toss-ups. We'll have to see which team sucks worse.

What a mess! As a Browns fan I can only hope they start 2-0 beating the Bucs and Chiefs while the Bengals start 0-2 losing to Pats and Ratbirds. Then WBNS might pick to show the Browns.

Still, I HATE the fact that the local providers have to pick one game. It's BS. I shouldn't have to go to a bar/restaurant and deal with an impatient waiter/waitress that only wants to earn some money while I only want to watch the game. Looks like my PC will get a workout once again this coming NFL season. I have a 50 inch plasma and a 106 inch projector screen and I'll be forced to watch my team on a 17 inch lcd monitor. And no, shelling out $300(?) to DirectTV is not really an option on principle alone.

The NFL broadcasting rules suck.

You notice the two New York teams never have this problem!

This seems like way more conflicts than in past years. I thought it was 4 or 5 a year.

No doubt! The NFL can somehow figure out a way to have 2 teams play in the same freakin' stadium but they can't figure out regional television conflicts.

I bet my local bar is going to love me this year. At least they just put in a new projection system on the patio with a brighter picture.

As the season nears I figured that I would check this thread again. My guess is that the Browns won't be on TV until week 3. I don't hate the Bengals but I sure hope they lose big in their first few games so that the Browns can get the WBNS nod.

I'm with you. As a Browns fan, I guess I'm going to spend a lot of Sundays staring at a laptop screen to watch the games.

Well, I checked out the WBNS online programming guide (here (http://www.10tv.com/live/content/station/titan-tv.html)) and it looks like the Bengals game is being shown for Week 1. Even as a Browns fan, I'm not surprised.

In case you didn't see, it appears DirecTV will be offering an online streaming package of all of the NFL games, which is available even if you're not a DirecTV subscriber. There is more information here (http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/content/nflstonline/overview) but with a price tag of $350 for the season , I'm not sure how many takers they are going to get.

Well, thankfully WBNS aired the Bengals/Patriots blowout.<sarcasm>
