Tokyo Extreme Racer (360) - I spent an UNGODLY amount of time playing the two versions on the PS2, and a 360 version (with on-line matches ect.) if done right, could be the greatest thing ever for me.

I spent an hour canvassing the MS booth for this game but it wasn't on the show floor (that I could find). I know it's in production but they might not be showing it right now or I just missed it.
FWIW, the Xbox 360 is going to have a killer year. Mass Effect has the potential to be a better, bigger game than Oblivion. Just a beautiful game and a very engaging plot.
- Bioshock looked amazing and will provide a lot of quality gaming hours when it comes out.
- Gears of War is going to sell like hotcakes and should appeal to the Halo crowd until the next gen Master Chief shows up next year (nothing like cutting your opponent in half with a chainsaw bayonet)
- Lost Planet is really good (E3 demo is available on XBL right now if you want to check it out).
- Dead Rising is a lot of fun (nothing like killing zombies with a potted plant)
- Marvel Alliance looks really good right now, it's X-Men legends with more characters but that's not a bad thing (PS3/Xbox 360 title)
If anybody wants info on the PS3 let me know

I'm always interested in hearing your thoughts on the PS3. E3 kinda killed my good vibe I had for the PS3. I'll probably end up sticking with a 360 and add a Wii.

I'm hoping to crank out a "In defense of the PS3 article" later this week for GN but here are a few thoughts.
- Price: Sony has been prepping us for a year on this and while the price is high I'm not too surprised by it. Almost expected something in the $700 range but $599 isn't too bad if you factor in the Blu Ray drive. Then again for the same amount you'll probably be able to get a Wii and an Xbox 360
- Controller: glad they went back to the dual shock design (although no feedback as they lost the lawsuit to Immersion last year). It's the PS2 controller but no cord and a bit lighter. The six way motion/tilt thing actually worked pretty well with the Warhawk demo. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it but it works pretty well.
- Online: *cough*Xbox Live*cough* Sony does seem to be leveraging their media library with the Singstar game but I was really expecting some kind of iTunes like service that would allow you to DL music and videos from Sony's media library to your PSP and PS3. Could still happen
- Dual SKU's: Thought this was a stupid strategy when Microsoft did it and it's pretty stupid here as well although they needed something at the 360 price level. A little PO'd at Sony for making it seem like the only difference between the two SKU's was just the difference in HD sizes but it turns out they took out the HDMI out, memory card slots, and wireless networking and didn't mention it at the press conference. Sony rep did say that you would be able to watch Blu Ray movies on the non-HDMI version but I've got an e-mail in to get something official
- Games: Warhawk was pretty good looking and fun to play. Heavenly Sword also looks solid and Activision will have the next gen Tony Hawk game and Marvel Alliance out as launch titles. Call of Duty 3 might also make that list but not 100% sure. Resistance Fall of Man also looked pretty good (think Call of Duty meets Half Life). I think Full Auto 2 is on the launch list but forgot to ask the Sega dude about that.
- Sony has a lot of good stuff coming out for the PSP, something that was kind of lost in the shuffle of the show. Killzone Liberation looks pretty sweet as does Loco Robo
That's all I can think about right now. Here's a link to our coverage of the show (my stuff is the first couple of pages for each one)

Cranking on Day 3 right now, hope to have it up tomorrow (*edit, up now)
If there are any specific questions let me know

P.S. Please forgive grammatical, spelling, and other mistakes as I don't usually get a lot of sleep/rest the week of the show :)
