Sounds like a great idea to me.

You can still, at this late date, sign-up for a VIP Exhibits Pass on NAB's web site - http://www.nabshow.com/ and possibly avoid standing in line for credentials when you arrive.

Membership in NAB is not necessary for the four day exhibits-only pass but an NAB code number, obtainable from some of the exhibitors or their ads in trade magazines, is required to complete the VIP application.

Plan on at least three days of solid walking if you want to cover the majority of the exhibits at the NAB and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Not sure yet. Probably not. This year is the year for trading a trip to EAA Oshkosh for NAB.
