Anyone catch the price for Sunday Ticket this year? Check out the link..

Guess it would be time for a poll somewhere to see if D* has finally made the package too pricey. I for one will need to give it some thought. :(

$229 If I remember correctly was about what the price was last year with Super Fan. Plus, if you subscribed last year, you'll get a $50 credit because of the Game Mix fiasco.
I think one of the confusing parts is the acutal verbiage about the blackouts:
Due to NFL and Broadcast Network requirements outside of DIRECTV's control, games broadcast by your local Fox or CBS station will not be available on channels in the 700s. You must tune to your local Fox or CBS station to watch those games. DIRECTV is required to enforce this rule to ALL its customers, including customers in areas where DIRECTV does not offer Local Channels. To see if you live in a Local Channel market or if they will be coming soon to your area, click here.
I thought the NFL agreed not to black out games locally this season

I think it was @$219 last year plus $99 for the Superfan. Most people were able to get the Superfan for $50 however since everyone was so upset about it costing more for HD games.
Since $229 is their "Early bird" price, that means the normal price will be $249. I don't see a price listed for the Superfan, so is it staying $99 or is it more expensive too?
I used to love my Sunday Ticket, but the last couple of years have been ridiculous since they started charging extra for HD. I didn't buy it last year, and probably won't this year either.

Here's another link to a D* webpage..

I like how the price of this package is not listed as far as I could tell. I too think the $229 price is a bit steep. I sent a email with a suggestion of finding a way to purchase a sunday ticket package for your favorite team, instead of the entire package. You would think it would be cheaper to buy a package for one team, but you never know.

I guess this would vary widely based on one's viewing habits. As a Giants fan, I am able to watch 16 games in HD for less than the cost of admission to two homes games (if one could actually purchase Giants' tickets).
