My TV is a Dell 42" plasma. I can no longer receive WBNS OTA. My troubles seemed to begin around the time that they made setup changes for March Madness. When the trouble first started I was advised to remove the antenna and do a scan. This was to clear the channel memory. Then reattach the antenna and scan again. This worked at first and I posted that hint. But now no matter what I do I do not get WBNS. (Of course I get it with TWC but that is not the point). I cannot even find Ch 21 manually. What is PCIP? I guess this is some information that the station transmits and perhaps some receivers are not able to decode what is now being transmitted. Is anyone else having problems? thanks ron.

Ronald, where are located?
I am located near the Lane Avenue Shopping center in Arllington. I have an outside antenna on a tower, and I can practically see the WBNS tower. My reception has been rock solid for over a year, and now I get all the other stations in the area just fine. I just wanted to see if anyone else had the WBNS problem before I work it some more. I wonder if anyone else here has a Dell TV - the early plasma model W4200HD. But unless my set has developed a failure, the problem must be at their end. More later if I have any luck fixing it.

WBNS-DT (10.1) is actually on UHF channel 21. You might try selecting channel 21 and see if your tuner will map it to 10.1.

Today Dell sent a technician who fixed my problem by reloading the TV's firmware. The version is the same as I had but the problem is fixed. I had been unable to get ch21 into the TV's channel memory. I had tried just about everything - rescanned with and without antenna, manual entry of ch21, recycled TV power, reset factory defaults from TV setup menu and so forth.

So welcome to the world of digital TV, also known as computers.
I pity my non-techie friends.
