Was anyone else as annoyed as I was with Ben Gelber's 5 minute-at-a-time hyperventilating interruptions of the Red Wings-Penguins game last night? He turned my 55" TV into a 23" TV, and the storm warning crawl at the top obscured the score when they weren't shrinking the game display. Why can't the local stations do something less obtrusive? Reminds me of the school closing crawler that took up 20% of the screen this winter.

I certainly hope that nobody was hurt or lost property in the storms in Clinton, Fayette, and Ross counties last night, but the brain-damaged way channel 4 handles weather alerts is just ridiculous...

Too bad NBC got the Stanley Cup final -- it was so much better watching hockey on Versus.

Well, last night was better, since we didn't have storms coming. Tomorrow, as I recall, the game is on Versus, so we'll be spared the "Storm Team 4" END OF THE WORLD!!!!!! hyperventilating if there's a sprinkle somewhere in Scioto county.

The other thing that always annoys me is that they never have a problem interrupting the program you're watching, but God forbid if they interrupt a commercial.
