Just out of curiosity what channels outside of Columbus do you guys receive with your OTA antennas? Does anyone pickup Dayton, Zanesville, Mansfield, or Canton stations with a large antenna? Also, what antennas do you own? I was just wondering if it was worth my time hooking up an antenna for stuff I didn't receive over cable.
I live in Reynoldsburg and have a square indoor non-amplified UHF antenna. I pick up 4,6,10,17, 28, 34, 51, and 53's digitals here in town.....many times I get 2's digital in Dayton, and this past summer, I got all of Dayton's digitals except 22's-which is weak due to it being on digital 51 which we still have an analog channel here.

A good web resource to answer your question is http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx. Just click on "choose an antenna", enter your address or zip, and it will list all the stations you should be able to receive and how to orient your antenna to receive them.

I have a Winegard 8200u antenna with a channelmaster 7777 pre-amp on a 40ft tower with rotor in summit station (franklin-licking county line) and currently receive other than columbus....
68.1 and 68.2 mansfield
18.1 zanesville
20.1,20.2 and 20.3 athens
I can receive dayton channels on analog pretty decent but no digital....
On good nights I pickup channels as far away as W.V. in digital but not very often...Also get Cleveland ch 3 and 5 analog no digital....I'm going to miss my analog signals:(

Mac what brand of antenna do you have? Is it the RCA HDTV antenna? I can get digital VHF 13, and digital UHF 14, 17, 21, 24, 36, 38, 46. 17 is spotty to pick up despite I'm close to WDEM digital antenna from my fourth floor downtown apartment.
My question is that will WBNS DT will muticast the NCAA Basketball Tournament?
