Has anyone had their Sammy DLP ISF calibrated? I am curious if it is worth it. If it matters, I have a 56" with Directv.

Any recommendations?

I had my both my Mits RP & Toshiba DLP Calibrated earlier this year and I feel that it made a big difference in the color quality. I would do it again if I purchase anything new.

If it is in your budget it may be worth it.

I agree with jpdublin; if you're going to spend x$ on a display, you ought to do yourself a favor and get it calibrated. It is alarming how far off the factory settings are and the few settings you can get to through the normal menus can change the view greatly, although without something to measure, it is really hit or miss.

I know of 2 that are out there.

Avail Technologies and HDTVbyChadB

I used Avail Technologies, but everything that I have heard has been positive on both ISF techs. I did talk to both ISF techs when I was looking around.

Had my Sammy 61" done by ChadB. Great job! I highly recommed everyone to get a ISF calibration done.

Add a third to that list. I'm offering calibrations for the Columbus area now too. Check out my ad in the buy, sell, trade section of the forum.
