I noticed for the first time today, that regular Channel 28 is no longer carrying Fox programming. So far, they are running 24 hour infomercial-like segments about how to make the change. Alternating between English and Spanish language,

That's got to be costing them money. I wonder how long they'll keep it up.

WTTE and WWHO both switched to digital-only format on the 17th. They will likely drop the information broadcast that airs on the analog channel soon.

WDEM CA DT flash cut to digital on 02.17.2009 11:59PM on 02.17.2009. They are showing a message that they're testing their digital signal. Right now 17.2 to 17.4 are showing color bars. No clue if they're going to multicast.

WDEM CA DT Digital ERP is 1.05KW down from their analog ERP that was 10.5KW. The reception is going to be spotty.

WDEM CA DT are trying to get Time Warner and WOW Cable to carry the station. No word on Insight, Dish Network, or Direct TV if they're going to carry WDEM.

For WDEM to be "upgraded" to a CA classification they dropped their straight feed of HSN/American Store in favor of local programming and anything that's in the public domain. The former WWHO CW53 spokesperson is now hosting a local arts show on WDEM. The station is feature in the current weekly, The Other Paper. Outlook TV is supposed to air on WDEM CA DT as well.
