Samsung HLN 3 flashing lights

I am assuming that it is trying to tell me it's bulb will not light. Last time I checked (2 years ago) it had almost 6000 hours on it. Guessing it was about time for it to die :)

Now the choice, should I replace the bulb or stimulate the economy and get a new set?

Does anyone know if there is someplace local that stocks the bulbs?

I'm not sure about someone local, but I always get my bulbs from a store on Ebay. They usually have really good deals.

As far as the replacement, if you're looking for something the same size, the Sammy plasma is ridiculous. Right now best bang for the buck for sure in the 50" size range.

Good choice. That set calibrates to almost a perfect .709HD spec.

All I have done so far is use some of the settings I found in AVS forums and this set looks great. I can not believe how much better this looks than the old HLN set. Black levels are so much better.

Yeah, they did a good job with this set. If you ever want to get it calibrated, though, just let me know. :)
