WHIZ (NBC) in Zanesville

Wasn't sure where this went, but for those of us just east of Columbus and get this station, WHIZ has announced it's now in HD, and could soon be on Time Warner and DTV around here.

Is this one of those low power stations like they have in Lima (the CBS affiliate)? I've been hoping for another CBS station within 70 miles of me that I can pick up on NFL Sundays when WBNS decides not to show the Browns. I know this one is NBC though.

On May 23, 1953, WHIZ-TV began broadcasting at 5:00pm on Channel 50 with just enough power to reach the 500 or so television sets in the Zanesville area. A year and a half later, WHIZ began broadcasting on channel 18 with an increase in power to 186,000 watts. In the 1980's WHIZ-TV installed a new antenna that saw a power boost to 589,000 watts and stereo sound. WHIZ-TV is at the cutting edge of technology with its WHIZ-DT (Digital Television) capabilities. Broadcasting on Channel 40, WHIZ-DT is delivering television unlike anything seen before.
