Series recording

When I set up a series recording for the NBC news a 6:30PM it only works for the day that I set up the recording. No other days are recorded. The series recording shows up in the Series Manager.
Could someone else try to set up a Series recording for NBC News at 6:30PM and see if it works for them?
I am using Time Warner and the channel is 704.

Just tried it. You're right, it did not work. In fact, it didn't even schedule it for tonight.

I think it's just one of the lovely 'quirks' of Navigator. My series recordings of CBS News at 6:30 on ch. 10 used to fail to record quite often. Several series recordings used to fail frequently on Navigator when the box was turned off, and I found far fewer failures by leaving the box on all the time. I haven't had any recording failures for CBS News on ch. 710.

Another thing to look at is to make sure the name of the program has not changed since the series recording was first set up. For example, Navigator would stop recording the series if it was set up for 'NBC News' and it later changed in the guide to 'NBC Nightly News.' This is an issue with ABC News, which on the weekends adds 'Saturday' and 'Sunday' to the program title, so you have to set up 3 series recordings in Navigator if you want ABC News to record 7 nights a week.

Which box and version of Navigator do you currently have? (Mine's in my signature below.)

I can't recall for certain, but I think awhile back I did have some recording failures with NBC News on Ch 704. I record NBC News on my DishNetwork DVR (in HD via an OTA antenna), and CBS and NBC news on TimeWarner on 706 & 710. I'm not sure if the problems still happened after the last software update (to v.108) or not.
