Today 1/1 after around 2pm, 4-1 and 10-1 started some strange interlaced effect.
Dish 622 says 100% signal strength on both, only visible on motion shots (hockey/football) not on any still image or cgi effect shots (scores/stats)
Anyone else seeing this or is it a multipath artifact?
edit: Since I don't have a huge TV, I'd left the output at 720p for everything.
I switched the output to 1080i and the interlace effect on the 1080i channels (4/10) disappeared.
But normally my dish box downrezzes the 1080i OTA signals to 720p fine. uprezz on fox/abc looks ok, but has a little of an intermittent flicker
So I guess my question is what can cause a downres failure? anyone have any clue?
