On Screen Channel Guide

I'm confused, I just hooked up my new converter box to my old anolog TV. I have a channel guide!!!!

My one year old HDTV has a guide button, but all the channels state "no program guide available" except Fox 28. I always thought that the guide just wasn't available yet in our viewing area.

Both TVs are hooked to the same antenna (channel Master 4228) via a splitter.

Any thoughts?

Most channels in the area do push EPG info. My old LG dvd/ HD tuner has been able to pull the EPG info for several years. You may have to tune to each channel for a brief period so the tuner can get the info for each channel. Most do not auto scan the channels to update the guide.

I've tried each channel, without effect. Same old, same old. No information on all channels, but Fox 28. Weird?????

Sounds like a bug in the DTV tuner of your tv. Might check with the manufacturer to see if there are any updates available.
