Start Over has started, at least here in Hilliard. I got their flyer in the mail yesterday. It was the most expensive piece of mail advertising I have received recently. Very high glossy heavy cardstock. Huge font, big picture of a TV, to tell us that Start Over has started on some programs on 11 channels.

I think TWC thinks that this is a BIG DEAL. It may be just me but I don’t agree.:dunno:

I tried it out and it does start the program over from the beginning but it doesn’t let you fast forward once it has restarted. I think I read somewhere that they had to protect their advertisers.

I guess it’s ok but is not high on my wish list.

It's a big deal for customer's without DVRs. Otherwise, not so much - unless you forgot to record something and you get home after the program you wanted to watch has already started.

I had to laugh. The mailer says that this is the salvation for someone who got stuck in traffic and missed the beginning of their favorite show. Looking at the list of supported channels, I have trouble believing anyone would be terribly anxious about missing something. Wake me when they support channels that people really watch.

I have to keep telling TWC to fix my blocking errors. Doesn't matter how many features they have if their Signal quality is in the toilet. I told them they have till the end of this week to fix it, or ADIOS! Their support is rediculous! :doh:
