need a HD projector and screen

Well talked the wife into getting the basement finished off. We are going with Owens Corning Basement Finishing System. Their system has great acoustic qualities for a home theater. So, the questions is I need ideas on a HD projector and what kind of screen to get. I have about $7000 total for the projector and screen. Suggestions are needed. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure how much preliminary shopping you have done in the last six months or so, but now is a great (if dizzying) time to shop for an HT projector. Many manufacturers have gotten into the game in earnest over the two years. Prices have absolutely plummeted. You should start at a site like ProjectorCentral.com and get a feel for the current offerings. Unless you have some particular limitations you should be able to get a very good projector and screen for less than $5000.
