I heard over at MLB.com (Indians board) that Insight has officially refused to carry the new Indians network .

With no deal yet signed by D* or E*, the only option for columbus fans is TWC (Which is not available in my area ). I haven't heard any news about WOW.

Can anybody confirm this?

Got this e-mail a couple days ago:

We are pleased to announce that Insight and SportsTime Ohio have reached
agreement for carriage of the Cleveland Indians games this season. Beginning
April 4, 2006, the games can be viewed on channel 60, which is shared with
Shop NBC during non-game times.

Programming for the games will begin approximately one half hour prior to
the first pitch and will continue through the post game show. At the
conclusion of each game, the programming on channel 60 will return to Shop
NBC.

Thank you for your interest and we hope you will enjoy the season!

I also called Insight and asked about HD. I was told it will be channel 779. However there is no mention of HD for Insight on the STO website.

Jim Liberatore is probably too busy to update his web site ;).

So many deals still to be worked out. No satellite yet.

However there is no mention of HD for Insight on the STO website.
