Thanks again to all of the support we received from the forum last week!
Here is a synapse of what was updated over the course of 6 hours today:
MySQL Server: Upgraded to 5
PHP: Upgraded to 5
vBulletin: Upgraded to 3.7.2
vB CMPS (homepage): Upgraded to 3.0.1
vB Style (our template): Upgraded to 3.7.2
There are still some bugs I'm working out, but I didn't think that they were anything that should keep the forum from going live.
Check out the new FAQ link at the top to find out about all of the new features. A couple things that I think are pretty cool are the image attachments (now with Ajax) and the ability to add tags to your thread, post, etc.
Please feel free to report any problems in this thread.
Image test... (an image I took on recent HOOTERS Bass Fishing trip, published in this month's HOOTERS Magazine!)

Feel free to also post the cool things that you find with the new software too! I found that under Quick Links > Pictures & Albums, we can add our own photo albums now! Pretty cool!
Like I said there are still some things that I need to get working--like the Xbox Gamertag link in the profile, some Google Ads, etc.
Thanks Again!!!

I like the way it handles photos. Nice.
Though, I didn't think men actually wore Crocs, I thought they were only for women...

...fixed navigation bar for Safari and FireFox for OSX and Safari for Windows (updated .js class so they wouldn't "stick").
Keep the issues coming guys!

Another cool tip... If you are browsing the forum main page, you can double-click on the http://www.hdcolumbus.net/vb-hdtv/images/aria/statusicon/forum_new.gif (means you have unread posts) to mark the entire category as read...

Also... Multi-quote functionality... simply click on the http://www.hdcolumbus.net/vb-hdtv/images/aria/buttons/multiquote_off.gif icon at the bottom-right of a post and it will turn red. You can do this to as many posts as you would like before you start your post (click on the http://www.hdcolumbus.net/vb-hdtv/images/aria/buttons/reply.gif icon) and it will add all the selected quotes to your post...

Ok, I guess I'll go next... Apparently you can customize your own profile to look any way you want. I was confused at first as I thought "Customize Profile" (I can't link it, look under User CP) would enable you to customize how you saw how HDC looked to you...
I was wrong... You can customize how our "profile" (i.e. when you click on a member's name) looks to them... I guess it's kind of like a MySpace thing :dunno:
At any rate, make it as pretty or as ugly as you like (beers to the ugliest  ) but because, I'm like, an admin, I made mine look like our default theme (not before making it as ugly as possible)... So, check mine (http://www.hdcolumbus.net/vb-hdtv/member.php?u=1) out and have a making yours prettier, uglier, etc....
The one caveat I noticed was that in order to have your own custom background, said background must be in your photo album (but if you select profile stuff, it remains hidden)...

On the old version of the software I had the HDTV News Poster bot not showing up in my "new posts" box on the main page. Is there a way to make that happen again? I use that for quickly seeing if there are any new posts from humans.

yeah, I've actually been meaning to ask Scott about that. I've been using the "new posts" button at the top recently as it's easy to pick out ones that aren't news.
