Anyone else out there have one of these? I've had mine going for 11 months now and yesterday the sliding door that opens and closes to protect the lens wouldn't open. The door had always been a little flakey. Sometimes it would work fine, sometimes it wouldn't open all of the way, etc. So I took it down and called Sanyo support. They advised for me to put the old bulb back in to see if that works. It did work initially but when I mounted it, it again wouldn't open.
So I finally figured out that the door won't open when the unit is upside down no matter which bulb is in it. And it will open when the unit is rightside up. So the wife is shipping it to Sanyo today for repair.
Figures that this would happen just before a holday weekend too. Anyone else encounter this issue? What was the result with Sanyo?
