Son wants a Flat sceen LCD!

My youngest son just turn 8 yrs old on 1 June. So, before his birthday My wife and I asked what he would like for his birthday. Thinking he would ask for a couple of new games for this PS2 and DS plus movies. Well he didn't asks for those things. Without thinking he quickly said a new 42" Flat screen LCD for his bedroom! The look on my wife's face was most great!

LOL. That's great. So what did you end up getting him? My birthday is coming up in August and I'd like a 52" LCD :D

We got him some PS2 games and games for his DS. And a new bike. Told him Flat screen has to wait!

when I was 8 years old... we only had 4 channels. And, we had to mess with the rabbit ears every time we changed the channel. There were no remote controls, either.

Well for me it was black and white with color just starting to come around. I remember the first time I saw a cartoon in color at 8yrs old!
