SA8300HD Problem

I've been using this box and have liked it. I used the remote (# button) to adjust the screen dimensions. I have a 51" wide screen and last week after switching channels it switches back to the 4:3 ratio so I have vertical gray bars. Then I have to press the pound button a couple times to get it to switch back to stretch mode. I can't figure out why it started doing this and want to get it to stay in stretched mode. I've tried to reboot the box but that didn't fix it.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I have it hooked up with component cables.

On your cable remote:

press the settings button
press the yellow triangle for more settings
scroll down to aspect ratios
set to widescreen 16:9, stretch 4:3
accept change
scroll down to ouput formats
make sure 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i
if your TV does not accept 720p do not select
accept changes and exit menu
