I have a LC-52D64U Sharp and have been looking at wall mounts, I don't need an articulating or tilt mount and am really interested in a very low profile flat mount since the TV is very thin. Any suggestions or brands I should stick to? Links would be helpful. TIA

The lowest priced yet sturdy mounts I have seen are at Sam's Club. When my son bought a 52" Sharp, that is what we ended up getting, for around 65 bucks I believe. And that was for a tilt mount. The non-tilt were cheaper. Sorry, I don't remember the brand name.

I'd recommend buying from monoprice.com for a mount. I got one there that only tilts for about $35. Plus then you can add on some cheap HDMI cables in the shipment.

Thanks Guys, I went to Sam's and bought this, not as slim as I would have liked but it was sturdy and the level on it made it a snap to install myself.

I have heard good things about the mounts from Monoprice. I have never bought one though.
I have bought the HDMI cables from them though and would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for the monoprice.com recommendation!
I was asked to help a good friend install their new 42" LCD HDTV. We first looked at the local big box stores for the accessories they needed, but I refused to let my friend spend $60 each for 6' HDMI cables, or $190 for a wall mount bracket. We decided it would be well worth postponing the install a few days while waiting for an online order. We found several online stores selling HDMI cables in the $20-25 range, and wall mounts in the $60-70 range. Then I remebered seeing a recommendation here on hdcolumbus.net for monoprice.com so we checked them out. WOW! We ordered two 6' HDMI v1.3 cables for $6 each, and a tilting wall mount for $26. I then got two great home cooked dinners for saving them over $250 bucks. Monoprice.com has a huge selction of cables and wall mount, great deals, great quaility, and quick shipping. My only complaint is they have way too many choices, but I guess that's a good problem.
