Dish HD Locals?

I saw a post about DirectTV HD locals so I thought that I would inquire once again about Dish HD locals. Anyone hear any news?

Nothing will happen till the next Dish satellite goes up. From the latest Charlie Chat there were mentions that 40 more areas would get HD locals by then end of next year. I like the idea of HD locals but at the same time they compress them more than the OTA signal. So at best we could get an MPEG4 version of an MPEG2 show. I recently bought an HDHomeRun that has two ATSC/QAM tuners that then transmits the MPEG2 transport stream to your computer. So far it's not too shabby.
