Verizon fesses up, officially adds Discovery HD to FiOS

"Starting" today, VZW has added Discovery HD to FiOS TV "in all markets" on channel 846, and just in case that wasn't riveting enough, it also reaffirmed <a href="http://www.engadgethd.com/2007/11/01/verizon-reveals-plan-to-launch-150-hd-channels-by-the-end-of-08/">its plan</a> to deliver HD simulcasts of Discovery Communications' other popular networks -- TLC, Animal Planet and The Science Channel -- sometime in 2008.
