I posted this on www.tivocommunity.com (http://www.tivocommunity.com) and I figure I would post it here as well...

Time Warner Mid-Ohio (Columbus, OH) last week moved some HD local channels. Unfortunately, as of today, my Tivo Series 3 doesn't have guide data for these new channel numbers.

WCMH (NBC) moved from 714 to 704

WBNS (CBS) moved from 721 to 710

WOSUDT (PBS) (now called WOSUHD) moved from 738 to 734

The old channels that still are getting guide data are DEAD and the new channels the Tivo knows about and they are working BUT there is no guide data (it currently says TO BE ANNOUNCED in the guide data for those 3 channels).

This sucks major because I have manually set recordings until the switchover happens. This especially sucks with all the new Fall premieres coming up soon.

UPDATE: I called TIVO today and they said someone submitted a channel update and that it will be sent out on the next "Tribune update" (I assume that is the Tribune Media Services where the guide data comes from) on the 22nd (Saturday).

I am not alone!

I've been fretting over this same issue for about a week. My problems were also masked by loosing all digital channels as well. Once that was resolved, I noticed the channel mappings had changed.

I submitted a program guide issue to Tivo on Tuesday in the hopes that it would get the ball rolling. Let's hope this gets resolved soon... sure is a pain.

Also on this topic, a friend of mine at work has a Tivo S3 and his channels have yet to change. This also added to the feeling it was something strange with my setup/location.

Thanks for the post and appreciate the updated info.

I plan on forcing a network connection after 6PM each day until it is updated instead of waiting for my Tivo to automatically connect. Hopefully it will be all fixed by Saturday evening.

Anyone receive the updated guide data yet? Nothing for me yet.

Not as of last night (Sept 22nd). I will check again after 5 or 6 pm today (which I think they release the updates).

I have a number of things on those channels I want to record including that new Ken Burns documentary "The War" that is being shown on WOSUHD on 134. I can either set a manual recording for now or catch it when it is repeated. But there are a number of other shows as well on those channels I want to record.

I just forced a guide update on my Tivo (Sunday at 7:30). I still do not have the new lineup. However, my CableCards are still tuning the old channels also.

I am going to call Tivo tomorrow (I have a case open with them) and let them know that those channels still haven't been updated. You guys might want to also do that as well to see if that helps expedite this.

I called Tivo again to complain about the 3 channels not getting moved they confirm those 3 channels (704, 710 and 734) haven't been moved and they have escalated the issue. They didn't give me an estimated time that this would be taken care of unfortunately. :(

FWIW, My channels (at least as of last night) are still at the old locations.

FYI... Milalwi just called and told me that channel mappings for 704, 710 and 734 have now been fixed after he forced a network connection this evening and they now have guide data (I am at work so I can't check). If yours isn't correct, then go into Settings --> Phone-Network connection and force a connection to Tivo.

I received the new channel mappings yesterday as well. Glad to have this resolved.

I received the new Tivo channel mappings on Saturday, but I was still getting the old channel numbers from TW. So I rebooted the Tivo - same old numbers. So I powered off the Tivo and rebooted - got the new numbers. So in the end it was pretty painless for me.
