After my RCA 1998 52" TV broke I decided to get a new HD TV, so I bought a Samsung 56" DLP Rear Projection HDTV (HL-T5676S) from Circuit City.
I'm very pleased with the DVD and HD quality and can live with the SD channel quality when I put it in Movie mode - I only have Basic T/W Cable TV.
I noticed that I get additional channels now - like 7x-x and 8x-x and others - where can I find a list of what those channels are?
I was also considering upgrading my Cable TV from basic to some other plan. I have 1 HD 1080i TV (new one) and all the others are basic SD tv's - I don't want the movie channels (HBO, CM, etc...) but would like to get as many HD channels as possible - the other TV's will need either the basic cable (no box) or a box/converter for little cost... Any suggestions as to what I should ask for from TW?
