Satellite Reception Issues This Morning

Please tell me that everyone else out there out had signal interruptions this morning. I got up at 6:00 and didn't have a signal until about 6:30 or so. When I checked it, my signal strength was a 12 on a scale of 0 to 100.

Mine was intermittent--some blocking here and there and signal drops during the heavy wind gusts. I didn't go dark though (DirecTV).

Man, my reception bites the dust any time we get more than light showers. I'm tired of complaining to E* about it. Had my dish aimed 3 times now. Problem is, I need a second vip622 for my basement and that is gonna cost me another fresh 18 month commitment with them. The service is great as long as the freakin' skies are clear.

Hey Fest, do me a favor, post here in this thread the next couple of times you see you lose your signal. Let's see if we can get to the root of this. Dude, If I were you, I would be having fits over this. But lets just stay all nice and healthy here, don't want you to have a stroke, and document these outages. I think your commit could be gotten out of if this problem isn't taken care of. But more importantly, lets fix it!

I'll do that. Just as a frame of reference, here are my signal strengths on the 3 birds on this clear sunny morning:
110 - 73 to 77
119 - 94 to 96
129 - 70 to 74

Of course, I don't care much for the readings on 110 and on 129. Looks like I'm peaked to 119.

My signal has been lost twice today. Just now, 6:20 PM and another time about 3 hours ago. It was out only for a couple of minutes the first time but it's still kinda annoying.
