i have noticed that the signal has been a bit weaker lately with much more dropouts than normal.

I have been in touch with Debra Grivois (Director,Engineering & Operations at WCMH). Here is some of the text from an email that I recieved from her yesterdsy (June 6th).

Over Memorial Day weekend we switched to the new exciter to test DISH's software upgrade that it pushed to their receivers over the last month or so. Late last week we had the vendor out to perform a tune up. This week we had the tubes scrubbed. Tomorrow we are replacing two junction boxes. We will be at our true output power in a few days.

I'm glad you noticed the improvement. We hope to have the system in top shape by the weekend.
