According to John Kiesewetter of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Reds HD games on FSN Ohio will be carried on DirecTV, and on Insight Cable in Northern Kentucky, Columbus, and Louisville. They do not yet have a deal with Time Warner.

http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/tv/

Extra HD games on DirecTV are carried on channel 95. I have not seen if this Monday's game is on that channel, but there is a Yankees game that day, and the Yankees on YES are usually carried on that channel.

The following RSN's are currently carried on spot beams in their local areas if you have the new MPEG4 equipment. They are not available here.
- 622 - YES HD (New York, Yankees)
- 623 - NESN HD (Boston, Red Sox)
- 625 - Sportsnet NY HD (New York, Mets)
- 629 - CSN Mid Atlantic HD (Washington/Baltimore)
- 640 - CSN Chicago HD (Cubs, White Sox)

If you live in New York and you have the new MPEG4 equipment you get two channel 622's and two channel 625's. One is SD, one is HD. There is currently only one channel 638 (FSN Cincinnati) on MPEG4 equipment.

(I edited this to add CSN Chicago. Also, the Orioles are no longer on CSN Mid Atlantic.)

Have any HD RSN's been available in Columbus via D* for baseball games? Last I heard the spot beams were only showing HD RSN in the home markets (ie: Cleveland and Cincy but not Columbus).

Here's a link to see what RSN's you get by zip code, including HD:

http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/contentPageIF.jsp?assetId=P3000004

According to this link, all games on STO 657 and FSN Ohio 637 are available in HD for zip code 44101 (Cleveland). If you enter 43201 (Columbus) or 45201 (Cincinnati), everything is SD only. That doesn't make sense, because I don't think 637 and 657 are HD.

Well, it is now more than a week into May and TW has yet to reach an agreement w/FSN to broadcast the Reds on FSN HD.

I have been a long time TW customer, however, between this and no NHL playoffs in HD I am now exploring my cable/dish options. Any advice?
