Flickering video...

and out of sync with audio. Anyone else notice this during Grey's tonight? My pic flickers every time there is a fade out. The audio was off by about 2 secs for a while, now it's just slightly off.

I do not watch it, but I heard my wife complaining about it. So same here and Go Steelers!

Was it the audio being out of time with the video or was it the picture flickering during screen fade outs that she was seeing? The flickering isn't a huge deal. I can't stand the out of sync stuff.

I wonder why this happens so much with the digital channels. Weird. I never remember seeing this with analog TV.

It's typically caused by delays intruduced from the re-processing of the Video Stream, but not the Audio Stream. For example, inserting the station logo or scrolling text banners.

Interesting. All the more reason to get of those annoying things...

I agree, but the stations would never let that happen. It seems like they are getting bigger and worse.
