I have a new Samsung TX-P3275WH, a 32" 1080i HDTV with a built-in
tuner. I have analog Wide Open West SD cable on RF Input A and a Terk Amplified antenna on RF Input B.
The OTA HD and OTA digital SD pictures are terrific, but I am disappointed in the quality of the picture from the WOW analog SD cable on RP Input A. The picture quality there frankly lags behind that of the budget $220 Circuit City ESA brand 27" SDTV which was formerly fed by this same cable.
When setting up Input A, the screen asks if my cable is STD, HRC, or IRC. I used STD, as that is what WOW told me on the phone, although I wasn't sure the rep knew what she was talking about. Does anyone know which of these 3 WOW is? Perhaps if I'm using the wrong one that explains the PQ problems.
Thanks!
