As of 6:15 PM, Friday, December 29th, Directv is experiencing issues with Columbus Locals. They told me that they are working on it and expect to have locals back on within 48 hours. I am glad that I at least have an OTA to watch the bowl games.

Quick fix, it only took a few hours, but they had locals back up later in the evening.

D* may have restored the signal, but it is still a poor signal here in Picktown.

That is especially true on NBC, but happens on CBS, ABC, FOX and UPN as well. CBS is probably the worst (it's like the picture gets fuzzy -almost like viewing thru water).

PBS is OK, but was OK during the outage last night.
