I was watching the cavs game tonight and the screen went blank about 1/2 way into the 4th qtr. I called dish and they said it was because Browns Table went on at 9:30 and that it was blacked out in my area. What? 1st of all it shouldn't be blacked out, my brother gets it with directv and my neighbor has it with time warner. That still doesn't explain why they didn't show the cavs game until the end.
The tech support guy had nothing to say about it that made sense, he blamed it on the rsn, b.s. because this did not happen to any other service.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? This is the 3rd cavs game that has been cut off that I know of.

I'm with you. Why do they have to black out Browns table anyway? It's not on locally as far as I know. Aren't blackouts typically used to protect the local channels? And losing the game in the 4th qtr? Wow.

I'm disappointed with the local sports selections with Dish. No ONN for high school football. No HD for fox sports ohio or sports time ohio. And these crazy blackouts. TWC definitely wins out if you're really into the Reds, Indians, Cavs and Blue Jackets. Fortunately I'm not. But I do like to see the Cavs and Blue Jackets play now and then.

I have the same problems with Directv too!
