I live in Delaware and am stuck with time warner cable. I am wondering if anyone else lives in Delaware and can pick up locals OTA. I really would like to have the Fiesta Bowl in HD. Also the equipment you use to do so would be great.
I am new to the forum and relatively new to HD. I just came across this place and it is great. Thanks to the people in charge.

ault45, Welcome to the forum! I know there are some people on the forum that are in Deleware (including nakedeye, one of our moderators). One of these folks would gladly assist you in your setup.
One thing you should check, if you haven't already, is this thread (http://hdcolumbus.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32) which is instrumental in getting a proper antenna setup. Just follow the instructions in the thread, and should give you a good indication of how powerful an antenna you'll need and where to point it.[/url]

I am currently a TimeWarner customer, also. We reside in Southern
Delaware county, Home Road area. We have installed a Samsung
SIR-T451 digital set-top HD receiver with a Terk TV55 antenna.
Within one hour of set-up we began viewing two (2) NBC, one ABC,
one CBS, FOX28, and three (3) WOSU channels. Reception is as good
as TW HD broadcasts. Looking forward to the Fiesta Bowl at home, finally.

I live in South Delaware (Cheshire and 23) and get WSYX OTA with a strong signal on channel 13. It's probably the strongest signal I get since its still in the VHF band. The problem children are 4 and 10 (14 and 21) where I have to "aim" between their towers to keep a signal from both. Oh, and I'm just using an indoor antenna I got a Radio Shack. (It's aimed pretty much S SW)
Hurry before the Super Bowl kicks off Sunday!!!

you should not have to aim between the towers for 4 and 10, they are on the same tower

The truth is stranger than fiction, then. I have to gradiently adjust my antenna between two directions. Too far S I lose 4, too far west I lose 10.
