I'm doing my best to arrange a 360 party next month. All the people we've normally played with don't seem to be free so I thought I'd see if anyone here might be interested in a 360 shin-dig. We're looking to try an 8 person game of Gears of War. Right now the 9th of December is looking to be the best for us. We likely will try other games too. I personally would be interested in trying a G.R.A.W. co-op match as I've not tried that yet. I should probably get a list of multiplayer games that I've got to help people determine if they'd be interested.
My Games:
Gears of War
Burnout Revenge
G.R.A.W.
Perfect Dark Zero
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Pocketbike Racer (BK Games)
Big Bumpin' (BK Games)
Small Arms
Texas Holdem'
(would consider getting Call of Duty 2)
Anyone interested?

Sounds like fun. Are you thinking about everyone meeting somewhere or online? G.R.A.W. co-ops are pretty fun. I actually play those as much as the team deathmatch when I have friends over.
If you're going with Call of Duty, you might as well get 3. I know Scott and I have that one at least. GOW would be awesome though, I'm loving that game. Splinter Cell would be cool too with two teams. Assuming you're doing it local, I'm asuming you would have two TV's each with an XBOX so that 4 people would be on each.

Now I can't seem to remember who said that my level of geekiness had come to a new hight upon flying to Florida to see HHG with my best friend, but I think 360 party's with grown men might just take the cake....

I remember you mentioning about going down to Florida for that movie. I've gotten together a few times with friends for "Halo 2" parties. I think they were meant to play other games but Halo 2 was the only game we all had.
GoW is definately high on our list right now. We all really enjoy playing it (though I'm getting hooked on Viva Pinata). The last few times we got together it ended up being a BYOTV party cause everyone enjoys having their own TV. We have no problem sharing if there are more people than boxes. It's normally been at my house since I have the 65" tv but I think we're going to have it at a friend's house who recently got one of those westy 1080p 37" tvs. I've got a monitor I'd bring with me and another friend just got a monitor he could bring for his 360. We usually enjoy getting together at one house as it make it more of an event but I think we'd be happy to have people over xbox live.

If it's open to people "outside" of the usual social circle here, I'd love to participate, providing I don't work that evening.

Well it looks like the party is happening. The current plan is for people to head over to my house on Saturday at 7pm. I assume it'll be at least 5 hours of gaming fun. We've currently got 6 people total that are confirmed and are able to support two more. Let me know if anyone wants to come and I'll give directions and more info.
