Lost Signal on Wed 11/16?

I have Dish Network. I lost reception for most of this morning as I was getting ready for work.:mad: Even when the rain didn't sound very heavy.:confused:

I'm just wondering how many Dish and DirectTV people out there lost or didn't lose their signal. For me, it seems that the satellite that provides locals is the first to fizzle out.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to decide whether or not to schedule another service call.

My oldest was up about 7am this morning and he had no problems watching Noggin.

Same here for me, no problem with my D* signal.

I haven't had any issues either. You seem to have lots of signal issues, there must be something else at play here. There may be an issue with the placement or aiming of your dish.

I agree. There's no way in hell I would be putting up with that much signal loss. Once, maybe twice a year is par for the course for me--I'd be getting Dish back out ASAP.

I use D*, but I agree I would be getting Dish back out to look!

The last time that Dish came out to my house was about 6 weeks ago. The guy looked at the signal strength (it was a sunny day) and said that he couldn't do anything. I guess that the reading was too high for him to be allowed to monkey with anything.

I guess that I'm supposed to be able to schedule a service call for a predicted rainy day. It's really frustrating.

I didn't experience any drops in my D* signal dispite the constant rain.
