It appears that all of the HDTV's of today have internal tuners. I happen to own an HDTV without a tuner. I used to have insight cable which was decent with HD, but I have been looking for a tuner since I now have TWC (the old no FOX no ABC issue) in the Marysville area. However, I have struck out everywhere I have checked. Anyone know of anyplace that still sells the tuners? Any help would be appreciated.

It will give you an idea on price. I agree that ebay is the best place to go.

Thanks for the advice. I have now looked on ebay, and am left with one question. Can I purchase a directtv receiver just for the OTA capability, even though I don't have directtv? It appears that is the case from the descriptions within ebay.

As long as it's not the HD TiVo, you shouldn't have a problem; however, I would look for a non-DirecTV tuner because they typically run higher in price.
Oh, and welcome to HD Columbus!

Circuit City sells the samsung DTB-H260F on it's website. This STB just came out a couple weeks ago so it should work pretty well. It costs $179.
