XBox360 DVD player

Anyone else evalutate the dvd player in the 360? I was watching a few episodes of Stargate on it last night and felt the image quality was pretty good. Some people on the AVS forums have been saying it is of poor quality. I'm going to try to do some more testing and see if I can validate it's ability. If it ends up being good enough for me then I'll probably be selling my dvd player.

Anyone looking for a Sony DVP-S9000ES dvd player? It's a beast of a machine with great image and sound. I paid around $1500 for it back in 2000/2001.

Still awaiting that call from EB Games :evil: I might be camping out at some places in the near future.

Do you have any pics of your setup running the 360 in all of its HD glory?

No images of my setup, but its not too exciting. The 360 is in the basement and the tv is upstairs. So most everyone never sees the 360 in my house. I do love the HD content and all the live features of the 360. Though honestly right now I'm playing Simpsons Hit & Run on it. It may not be a new title but once I found out it was backwards compatible I had to get it.

Hopefully I'll get MCE up and running so I can stream HD content to the 360. But for now thats a ways off as I've got too much going on this end of year. Sounds like next weekend BestBuy is releasing the next shipment if you're looking to camp out again. Hell, I'd be tempted just for eBaying it.
