I have my dish system set up so that the den and an upstairs bedroom both use the second tuner on my 622 dvr. It works great since having both the den tv and the bedroom tv on the same channel is not an issue. However, one must remember to carry the uhf remote with them to the other room.
Anyone out there buy a second uhf remote for this type of situation? Can 2 different remotes control the same tuner on the same receiver? I haven't really looked into how these things are programmed yet. Do I need a remote specific to the 622 or would any dish uhf dvr remote work?
