I would imagine that XM would have to make some good deals, it seems that over the past 2 months Sirius's sales have destroyed XM's. (May have to do with NFL season & Howard Stern) Other than XM signing a contract with Directv (which is huge to their bottom line), consumer sales have been declining.

The holiday season is the best time for deals, so keep an eye out, I purchased the Sirius JVC Home/Auto plus 1 year service last December for $159 directly from Sirius.
