I recorded OSU-TX on my PC. Reception was OTA via Fusion card. It is a single file of 20GB. The file type is called tp which I think is the same as ts, transport stream. I can play it in the Fusion application but I would like to edit out the commercials for more pleasant viewing and perhaps archive it to DVD. I would appreciate any suggestions on software that can do this. thanks.

The Fusion app should allow you to do Cut Editing of the file. If you did not install the app and do not want to you could also check "HDTVtoMPEG2", an app which should let you edit the capture and save it to an MPEG2 file at HDTV resolutions with AC-3 audio.
I don't have the Fusion app installed in my setup (I use SageTV for capture, management and playback) but that function should have been available in versions 3.2X and later. Check the DVICO website for updates.
