I was flipping between the Browns and Bengles, I noticed a good difference between the Fox picture and the CBS picture. The Browns game on Fox the PQ was outstanding. The picture was sharp, clean, and focused. The CBS one seemed to soft and not as focused to me, almost-ed looked like an ED picture. Anyone else see this difference? The wife even made a commit on it. Now the play of the Browns is a whole different subject!

Did anyone else have breakup issues, especially the 4pm FOX game? It was pretty good for the early games, but unwatchable here for a large chunk of the late game.

No breakups at all for me. Flawless reception.
Re the FOX/CBS diff, my TV is native 1080i so I really don't notice much diff between the 720p Fox and the 1080i CBS. CBS might be just a bit better.

festivus is probably right. Since your TV is 720p natively then that could be the culprit.

I have never noticed a difference before between the 1080i & 720p on the TV. As a matter of fact the CBS games have always been great for me. Second game was flawless for me too. No problem.

Flawless for me as well for the second game. My set is native 720p and the CBS game did look a little soft at times--more focusing issues than anything else; however, they've certainly stepped it up from last year (perhaps a little more saturation?), the color looked more vivid than the CBS broadcasts of last year (of course I do have a new lamp :D)

It was raining in Kansas City for the Bengals game. Did that cause the softness you saw? I thought the picture was good.

It seemed more of a focus issue to me. At times, the picture would blur slightly for a moment and then sharpen back up. Happened probably 4-5 times that I noticed.

Keep in mind the weather in KC was pretty bad especially in the 2nd half. I thought the Fox game looked slightly better on my 1080p via 1080i output from dish box.

I think you all need your eyes checked. CBS blew away fox. It has for years, but fox has done a bit better job this years. Still CBS BLEW FOX AWAY.
1080p set here

1080p set here
LOL, probably so. I could nit-pick both--i.e., CBS + SD aerial replay = bush league... FOX + freaking ANNOYING SFX on EVERY play = HORRIBLE (I know, nothing to do with PQ, but annoying nonetheless...)!!!!
