Audio & Video Dropouts - Medium 10/24/05

Anyone else suffer from dropouts during the 10/24/05 episode of medium?

At first the audio was slightly out of sync, then the dropouts started. Switched to regular def cable and all was fine.

I have not watched my copy yet but i suspect it was an issue with nbc's east coast distrobution sat. they have been having issues with it recently.


as far as hdtv not being ready for prime time, thats totaly incorrect. cbs never has any issues what so ever. neither does fox. abc has a minor issue to some locals with the audio dropping for a few secs every 30 mins or so. nbc has been plauged by issues, but it comes from the top down as far as management is concerned, NOT the technoligy.

That being said, here in columbus we happend to be bless with probibly the worst company to own stations......Sinclair. The management there views hd as an loss and not as a way to get viewers. untill that changes, we will continue to have issues localy with abc and fox here in town. again it's the management, not the technoligy

Yeah...I saw lots of drops both last night and tonight....for Las Vegas, Medium and NCIS.

Usually it was some video breakups and then loss of video and audio....audio would return, and then video....and it was rather frequent...so kind of annoying, but not enough to make me resort to watching it in SD.

At least not for those shows....

I also had the dropouts. I recorded Jay Leno that night as well and it was also dropping out quite a bit.
