Was looking at the DA-5200 antenna at the Shack the other day and wondered if anyone in the area has had success with it. It's a small, flat, powered, indoor/outdoor antenna. Cost is $50.
Thanks for any info.
This might be a too late, as your post was 9/1, but: My neighbor installed this on outside, and it has worked fine for him. I don't know what his signal strength is - I think it hovers around 80, but he has had no problem with a consistent signal for Fox and ABC. It's omnidirectional, so he's also picking up OSU with it. And we live in a heavily treed area. There is definitely no clear line of sight between his antenna and the Fox/ABC tower.
For what it's worth, I bought the Terk squareshooter, installed outside and pointed directly at the Fox/ABC tower, and get a consistent 89(ABC) - 98(Fox) signal strength. Also obstructed by trees. We are about 6 miles from the towers. The Terk that I am using is unidirectional, so it is only useful for ABC, Fox, CBS and NBC, which relative to me are all in the same direction. It does not pick up OSU or any other outlying stations.

That is the same antenna I just installed and it picks up columbus stations just fine but I'm having problems with WWHO-DT 53-1 the transmitter is in West Circleville.

I could never get 53-1 with any of the OTA's that I have tried over the years. I used a Winegard on the roof with no luck and a Terk that occasionally pulled the signal but not very often.
